Dirt Cheap Tricks and Tips

Home

Around here we have a problem with dew.

On a refractor the objective will dew up first, on reflectors the eye pieces will dew up first, but either can bring an end to a night of viewing. Dew control systems built for telescopes are not cheap, but a used hair dryer from a yard sale is (I paid $1.00 for this one), and will quickly remove dew from your optics.
